普通高校大学英语教学改革探析

摘　　要：普通高校大学英语教学内容大多未能与学生所学专业知识结合起来,导致学生学习英语的积极性不高,加之学生入学基础普遍较差,致使大学英语教学改革进展缓慢。大学英语教学改革要取得实质性进展,必须以中小学英语教学质量的提高为支撑,向专业英语方向发展,逐步推行部分专业课程全英语的课堂教学模式,以便促进学生职业能力提升。In colleges, it＇s easy to see that most students are lack of learning interests in English for the basic English learning material hardly has any connection with their professional learning, together with their weak English foundation, which slows the rate of progress of college English reforming. To make great progress in the reform of college English, we should pay more attention to the quality improvement of English teaching in primary and middle schools. And, in colleges, English for special purpose should be introduced to all non-English majors to replace Basic English, and some courses taught in English should be provided to students gradually, which can help college students grow up professionally.
