摘  要:在日益激烈的国际竞争大背景下,高职英语教学应该顺应局势变化,进行相应的变革,以服务于高职教育,将高职毕业生培养成为高素质的国际型技术人才。高职英语教学的改革不仅要从学校政策、教师授课方式、学生自我管理等主要方面入手,也要从国家相关政策部门以及社会大众群体意识等根本方面着眼,力图做到将英语教学与职业专业技能培训有机地结合起来,以此为国家输送更多具有较高英语水平的技能型人才。In the context of increasing international competition, English teaching in higher vocational education in China need to be constantly reformed to keep up with the changing global situation, thus to enhance the efficiency of the overall higher vocational education and cultivate the high-quality graduates with international competitiveness. With the purpose of integrating English teaching with vocational skill training to cultivate more skilled talents with better English competence for the development of the nation, reform in English teaching in higher vocational education need to be carried out not only in school policy making, teaching methodology and student seff-management, but also in the collective consciousness of relevant policy making authorities as well as the mass society.
