国际视野下的我国高校继续教育的改革和发展

摘　　要：继续教育是终身学习体系的重要组成部分,我国高校在发展继续教育中取得许多成绩,但目前也面临一系列挑战。我国高校在推进国家继续教育体系现代化进程中应进一步发挥引领性作用。文章总结了国外继续教育特别是高等学校继续教育的现状和特点,并从办学定位、体制制度、经费来源和办学质量等方面重点分析了欧美公立大学"继续教育学院(部)"的基本情况。基于此,对我国高校继续教育实现改革和发展的战略目标提出了若干意见和建议。Continuing Education is an important part of lifelong education. This article is an in-depth study of the continuing education in Chinese universities from an international comparative angle. First, this paper reviews the basic features of the continuing education internationally. It reviews the continuing education in the US and European public universities in such aspects as school-running orientation, rules and regulations, funding sources and quality issue. Then, the analysis focuses on the continuing education in Chinese universities, which are facing a series of challenges, although having significant achievements in its development. Third, it makes reflections and puts forward suggestions for strategic goals of reform and development of the continuing education in Chinese colleges and universities. It concludes that Chinese universities, especially those leading ones, should play a leading role in the process of further promoting the modernization of China＇s continuing education.
