摘 要:英语演讲作为大学英语高级阶段的语言应用类课程,以培养学生在今后的工作和社会交往中用英语进行有效交际为目标。本研究以三大类英语演讲教材为比较对象,运用外部评价和内部评价相结合的教材比较框架,前者关注教材的编写理念、教学目标和适用对象,后者从体验式学习视角和跨文化交流视角来检验内容编写和练习设计是否具有实践性,能否激发学习者学习兴趣和积极性,从而判断是否符合应用型课程教学的需要,以期为相关课程的教材选择和编写提供借鉴。Regarding the curriculum for advanced learners’ practical use, the English Speaking Course aims to enhance the students’ ability to communicate more effectively in English both in future work environment and social interaction. Taking the three applied categories of the English Speaking course books as the subjects, the study adopts the framework by combining both external and internal-evaluation systems. The former centers on the designing principles, teaching aims and the potential users; while the latter tests if the contents and the exercise are applicable, and if the course books can arouse the learners’ curiosity and motivation from the perspectives of the experiential study and intercultural communication. The comparative study intends to evaluate if the course books meet the needs of the practical curriculum, so as to offer suggestions for the selection and designing of subsequent course books.
