摘 要:中美两国新闻专业教师任用标准存在鲜明的反差,中方大多有博士学位,美方大多没有博士学位;中方大多没有新闻工作经历,美方大多有新闻工作经历;中方大多发表学术论著,美方大多发表非学术作品;中方获得新闻作品奖的人数少,美方获得新闻作品奖的人数多。文章在对有关问题进行梳理的同时,还对其原因加以分析和说明。There is a striking contrast in employing journalism teachers between China and the United States.Most of the Chinese teachers hold doctoral degrees while most of the American teachers do not.Most Chinese teachers do not have any experience in journalistic work while almost all the American teachers do.Most Chinese teachers publish academic papers while most of the American teachers publish non-academic journalistic works.Few Chinese teachers have won journalistic awards while many American teachers have.Faculties in the two countries also differ in academic title structures and teacher-student ratios.They also define journalism very differently.In combing the relevant problems,this paper also analyzes and elaborates the reasons behind them.
