摘　　要：麦·金斯顿(Maxine Hong Kingston)是美国当代著名华裔女作家。在她的作品中,身份属性(身份认同)问题是贯穿始终的主题。美国华裔身处中西两种文化冲突中,处境两难,身份尴尬。他们常常对自己的中美双重身份属性感到迷茫困惑。金斯顿通过深刻剖析美国华裔的"家园渴望"情结并创造性地采用文化杂糅的写作手法,对中国神话传说和西方经典作品进行改写重构,塑造出一种既包容中国性又不排斥美国价值观的美国华裔新属性。As one of well-known Chinese American woman writers in the world, M. H. Kingston highlights the quest for the identity of Chinese Americans and presents the ways of its construction in her works. Situated in the dual cultural background, Chinese Americans find they are caught in the crisis of cultural identity： neither Chinese culture nor American culture embraces them. At a loss, they set out their odyssey of identity-seeking. By analyzing Homeland Desire and cultural hybridity and combining Chinese legends and European classics together, Kingston creatively reestablishes a new identity of Chinese Americans, preserving Chineseness while maintaining American values.
