珍视大学声望 守护大学精神——“墨尔本模式”发展及其启示

摘　　要：坚守大学精神是大学的立世之本,珍视大学声望是大学的立世之道。如何长期坚守大学精神、长久维护大学声望,目前理论上缺乏系统的理性文本建构,处于集体无意识状态;实践中少有成熟的形象危机应对机制,处于被集体围观状态。"墨尔本模式"发展及其启示在于:我国著名大学应提升维护大学声望的理性自觉,在追求卓越的过程中坦荡而理性地坚守大学精神,为高等教育生态健康发展表现出应有的担当。Guarding the university spirit is the soul of university, and cherishing the uni- versity reputation is its approaches. It is in the collective unconscious state because of lack of rational and systematic theory on sticking to the university spirit and long-term maintenance. Meanwhile, it is surrounded by collective onlookers because of few mature response mecha- nism to image crisis in practice. The development of the Melbourne model highlights that the famous universities in China should promote their self-consciousness of prestige mainte- nance, stick to the university spirit magnanimously and reasonably in the process of striving for excellence, and shoulder the responsibility for the healthy development of higher educa- tional ecology.
