从外语教学的双重性论大学英语课程设置的多元化

摘  要:《大学英语课程教学要求》和《国家中长期教育发展规划纲要》均强调大学应该"考虑对学生的文化素质培养和国际文化知识的传授",培养"具有国际视野和通晓国际规则的国际化人才"。为了充分体现英语教学的工具性和人文性,大学英语课程应该是一个立足差异性和灵活性的多元化的课程体系,应该切实做到必修与选修相结合、语言技能课程与人文通识课程并重、输入与输出能力培养课程兼顾、ESP和EAP等课程根据校情开设。According to College English Curriculum Reqirements and National Medium and Long-term Education and Development Programs, colleges and universities in China should attach great importance to students’ cultural qualities and international cultural knowledge, fostering talents with international visions and mastery of international rules. Therefore, College English is expected to influence students’ international visions and cultural qualities. In order to show its instrumentality and humanity, College English should have a diversified curriculum which is a combination of required courses and optional courses, a focus on language-skill-centered courses and general education courses and an incorporation of courses to develop both input and output abilities, and finally ESP or EAP courses should be offered according to the status quo of various universities.
