摘 要:帮助学习者扩展词汇量是中、高级阅读课重要的教学目标。但已有研究表明,通过自然阅读进行伴随性词汇学习的效率并不高。因此,如何在阅读课中对词汇进行适当的教学处理以提高词汇学习效率是亟待探讨的问题。研究表明:通过猜词技能训练,优化目标词的文本环境及增加学习任务的认知投入量等手段有助于提高汉语二语者的词汇学习效率。本文具体介绍了该教学方法的设计思路、实施过程、教学效果及教学反馈,最后对该方法存在的问题进行了反思。Learning words through reading is a crucial way for second language learners to build up their vocabulary. However, some studies indicate vocabulary learning through learners' selfreading is not especially effective. Therefore, improving vocabulary learning during reading is an important issue that needs to be addressed. In this article, we report a vocabulary teaching approach we take in Chinese intermediate extensive reading class. We find that: (a) practicing word-guessing skills, (b) creating a supportive context of target words,(c) increasing the load of involvement required by the reading tasks are effective ways for vocabulary learning. The article introduces the rationale of the approach, the actual teaching process, and teaching effects and feedback. It ends with possible future improvements of the approach.
