摘　　要：英语课程标准的构建是提高高职英语教学质量的关键。本文从当前高职英语课程与教学的现状和问题入手,结合高职学生的职业面向和职业能力需求,探讨分析了构建以职业能力为导向的高职英语课程标准的重要性,并就如何构建科学合理的课程标准来提高学生的英语实际应用能力提出了相关的对策和建议。The construction of English curriculum standard is the key to the improvement of higher vocational English teaching quality. Starting from the current situation and problems of the present higher vocational English curriculum and teaching, combining with the requirements of higher vocational students’ occupational orientation and occupational ability, this paper explores and analyzes the importance of constructing higher vocational English curriculum standard oriented by occupational ability, and puts forward the relevant countermeasures and suggestions on how to construct scientific and rational curriculum standard to improve students’ practical application ability in English.
