摘　　要：中国当代戏剧剧本的英译随着历史的推移呈现不同的特征。新中国成立初到"文革"以前的话剧剧本英译以主动输出为主,外文出版社成功地建构了良好的国家形象;"文革"期间西方主动译介革命样板戏,显示了西方对社会主义中国的好奇与敌意;"文革"之后的英译选本仍然以现实主义戏剧为主却呈现出多样性,主要编者和译者的中国身份使得译作能更加客观地呈现中国之面貌。The English Translation of Chinese contemporary plays presents various features with elapses of history. The English translations of spoken drama mainly focus on active-output model between 1949-1966, a favorable national image successfully constructed by the publications of Foreign Languages Press; During the Cultural Revolution, many western countries launch initiative translations of Revolutionary Model Drama, with their curiosity and hostility; After the Cultural Revolution, translation anthologies are mainly realistic plays with diversified tendencies, contributed to the Chinese Identity of editors and translators, thus the translated works unfold the reality of China objectively.
