摘　　要：文化特色词因蕴含了丰富的文化内涵,是翻译中很难处理的部分,所以要小心谨慎对待。本文通过对中日文化特色词英译策略的对比,总结文化特色词的有效翻译途径,并指出就长远来看,语音借用是处理文化特色词比较理想的手段。Cultural terms,full of cultural implications,should be dealt with especially carefully. By comparing different translation techniques adopted by Chinese and Japanese translators in cultural terms translation,this paper is aimed at giving effective translation strategies in this area. The paper also points out that phonetic transcription is the ideal one to be recommended on the long run.
