摘 要:语言、文化、交际三者密不可分,学习语言就是学习文化,从而达成有效的跨文化交际,而跨文化交际则包括了文化输出和文化输入。目前我国的英语教学主要以介绍英语文化为主,忽略对中国文化的学习,造成学生中国文化知识的欠缺及中国文化英语表达能力的低下,这在一定程度上影响了学生跨文化交际能力的提升。语言学界把这一现象称之为"中国文化失语"。到目前为止,语言学界对该问题的研究还较为笼统,且未见针对理工科院校英语教学所进行的调查研究。为此,以甘肃省部分理工科院校为例,对英语教学中中国文化缺失现象进行深入调查研究,以期为大学英语教学改革提供一些建议和对策。Language,culture and communication are inseparable.Learning a language is learning the culture in order to achieve the effective intercultural communication which includes cultural output and cultural input.At present,the main purpose of English teaching in our country is to introduce English culture,ignoring the learning of Chinese culture,thus the students lack the knowledge of Chinese culture and their English expression ability of Chinese culture is poor,which affects the promotion of students' intercultural communicative competence to a certain extent.The linguistic circles call this phenomenon"Chinese culture aphasia".In view of the problems,linguistic experts have launched many discussions so far.But almost all of them only generally study the phenomenon of Chinese culture aphasia,not emphasizing the situation of science and engineering colleges,especially in Gansu province.Therefore,taking science and engineering colleges as an example,this study is to deeply investigate and research the situation of Chinese culture aphasia in English teaching of science and engineering colleges in order to offer some suggestions to the college English teaching reform.
