摘 要:美国是世界上最早开设社会科的国家。美国社会科下的历史教学主要经历了三个发展阶段:一是社会科的诞生和综合历史教学的出现;二是新社会科运动和历史选修课的激增;三是标准运动和国家历史课程标准的出台。回顾和研究这一演变历程,有助于认识历史教育和教学中的一些深层次问题。America is the first country in which social studies were established. The evolvement of history teaching in American social studies experienced three phases: the first was the naissance of social studies and the establishment of integrated history teaching; the second was the movement of new social studies and proliferation of elective history course; the third was the movement of curriculum standards and the publication of national history curriculum standard. Reviewing and studying the evolvement helps to recognize some underlying problems in history education and teaching.
