摘  要:已有研究表明,利用外部研发有助于增强企业创新能力,但对其作用机理的解释不够。从外部研发需通过内部组织发挥作用这一思路出发,以组织正式化和创新激励政策为调节变量,探讨了外部研发对企业创新绩效的影响机理,以中国549家企业为样本,运用SPSS20.0软件进行多元回归调节检验,对4者之间关系进行了实证研究。结果表明,外部研发对企业创新绩效有显著正向影响;创新激励政策正向调节外部研发与创新绩效之间的关系;组织正式化对外部研发与创新绩效的关系具有不同调节作用。与此同时,高激励能够减少组织正式化对于创新绩效的负向作用。该研究部分解释了外部研发对创新绩效的作用机理,对于促进企业创新活动,提升创新管理能力具有重要意义。Prior studies have shown that external Research and Development (R&D) will strengthen an enterprise's ability to innovate. However, existing study has not examined the mechanism between external R&D and innovative performance. Beginning from the concept that external R&D relies heavily on internal organization, this paper will discuss how external R&D influences an enterprise's innovation by using the formalization of organization and innovation incentives as the moderating variables. Using multi--regression analysis method to study on the relationship among these four was done by SPSS20.0 with a sampling of 549 enterprises. The results further reveal that: First, external R&D positively influences an enterprise's innovative performance (number of new technology projects, sales revenue of new products and services). Second, innovation incentives positively moderate the relationship between external R&D and innovative performance. Third, the formalization of an organization has different moderating effect on the relationship of external R&D and innovative performance: when the degree of formalization of an organization is low, the enterprise's new technology projects can be increased; when the degree of formalization of organization is high, it can help to raise the enterprise's sales revenue of new products and service. Fourth, when an innovation incentive and the formalization of an organization influence each other, a high level of incentive can lessen the negative influence of the formalization the organization has done on innovative performance. This research seeks to explain the mechanism action of the external R&D's influence on innovative performance, which in turn has a referential meaning on promoting an enterprise's innovation activities and innovation management.
