摘　　要：从高职院校英语专业教师的实际出发,阐述英语专业教师读书修养的现状,分析提升高职英语专业教师读书修养的意义,提出提升高职院校英语专业教师读书修养的具体思路:培育学习型英语专业教师队伍、培养英语专业教师科学的读书观、创新提升英语专业教师读书修养管理制度、打造英语专业教师读书修养教育新范式,从而提升英语专业教师的综合素质。Starting from the actual situation of English major teacher in higher vocational colleges, this paper discussed the status of English teachers＇ reading accomplishment, analyzed the significance of reading accomplishment of English teachers in vocational colleges, put forward to the specific idea for improving professional English teachers＇ reading accomplishment： fostering learning professional English teacher team,cultivating scientific reading view of professional English teachers, innovate management system for improving professional English teachers＇ reading accomplishment, build professional English teachers reading accomplishment education paradigm, so as to enhance the professional English teachers＇ comprehensive quality.
