摘  要:将语言肢解成语言成分和将听说读写译技能分割训练的教学无法培养学生的语言应用能力。整体语言教学强调语言的整体性和语言技能的综合运用,顺应当前大学生英语语言综合应用能力培养的教学要求。依据整体语言教学原则提出整体语言教学操作模式构想,能为整体语言教学在大学英语教学中的实施提供技术支持,促使整体语言教学在培养学生语言综合应用能力中发挥应有的作用。The teaching by which language is divided into small parts and listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation are separated in training does not lead to the development of students 'ability of using the language, while the whole language teaching approach, by focusing on the whole of language and the integration of the language skills, fits the current requirements of college English language teaching for bringing about students' integrated ability of using the language. A study of the formation of an operational model of whole language teaching based on the principles of whole language teaching will possibly provide technical supports for the implementation of whole language teaching in school so as to develop students integrated ability of using the language.
