民国时期教会大学校长招考理念解析

摘　　要：民国时期教会大学校长的招考理念不断更新,以适应大学办学环境的变迁,但同时又有对学校办学传统的坚持。他们传承欧美大学的教育理念,始终坚持选拔通识精英人才;在选拔方式方法上,则不断变革创新,确立多元评价标准,并充分借鉴中国传统科举考试的经验以提高效率,同时以欧美高校传统的申请审核制补其不足,最终形成民主、高效、科学的招生考试制度,选拔出众多优秀人才,为教会大学高质量的人才培养奠定坚实基础。民国时期教会大学校长的招生理念既有对人才评价标准的坚持,又不乏对选拔方式、方法的创新,为今天高校改革发展留下诸多启示。During the period of the Republic of China,principals of church universities changed their ideas on enrollment and entrance examination constantly in order to meet the changes and challenges of the educational environment,but at the same time,they adhered to the tradition of their own. They inherited the educational concepts from European and American universities,and insisted on selecting elite talents to enter university.Meanwhile they reformed the selecting methods,set multiple evaluation criteria,improved the efficiency by integrating the advantages of Chinese traditional imperial examination and American open admission policy and ultimately established a democratic,efficient and scientific system,which contributed to the talent selection and cultivation of church universities. These principals' concepts left us much enlightenment.
