应用技术型高校大学英语课程教学目标构建

摘　　要：地方本科院校向应用技术型高校转型涉及学校办学定位、人才培养目标、课程设置等一系列重大改革。作为本科教育课程体系中一门重要课程,大学英语应重新审视其课程目标。通过对学生、社会和学科发展需求分析,应用技术型高校大学英语课程应以培养学生跨文化交际能力和职业英语应用能力为主要目标。根据学生专业方向,这一目标应具有多元化、可供学生选择特征。Nowadays the local undergraduate colleges are expected to change into the applied-technologi-cal colleges which involves finding its new position in the tertiary education system , re-designing the target of personnel training , reforming the curriculum systems , etc.College English as an important course , its teach-ing goal should be examined again and redesigned in the applied-technological colleges .According to analysis of society development , students ’ needs and English language development in the globalization , college Eng-lish should produce students cross-cultural communication competence and the diversified ability of using pro-fessional English in their future career .
