英语名词的动化——基于认知转喻和隐喻机制的视角

摘　　要：文章从认知角度出发,运用转喻和隐喻理论对英语中名词动化的认知基础进行了分析,揭示了名词动化的认知过程,以及认知转喻机制和隐喻机制如何在名词动化过程中发生作用。From the perspective of cognitive linguistics, this study analyzes the cognitive basis of denominal verbalization in English based on the mechanisms of metonymy and metaphor, and then reveals the cognitive process as well as the essential function of mechanisms of metonymy and metaphor in this phenomenon. In addition, this paper makes people clearly realize that mechanisms of metonymy and metaphor co - function in the cognitive process of denominal verbalization.
