摘 要:汤显祖提出的"贵生说"和"大人之学",分别是他平民教育思想的目标、出发点与途径,二者互相支撑、融合。"贵生说"体现出汤显祖遵循了封建社会办学普遍性原则之一的教化民众倾向,"大人之学"是汤显祖论述如何"贵生"的起点,刘应秋为此作了进一步阐发。汤显祖在"贵生说"和"大人之学"基础上升华的教育思想及其付诸的办学实践,对于深化当今的中国教育改革仍有一定的启示意义。Tang Xianzu put forward the theory of "pay attention to life" and "how to learn to be a useful person", which are respectively the goal, starting point and way of realizing his common people' s educational thoughts. The two support and integrate into each other. The theory of "pay attention to life" indicates Tang Xianzu followed one of the universal principles of the feudal social education in terms of civilizing common people. The theory of "how to learn to be a useful person" is the starting point of Tang Xianzu' s describing how to "pay attention to life". Liu Yingqiu further analyzed the theory. Tang Xianzu' s educational thought and his practice of running school, which were based on the theories of "pay attention to life" and "how to learn to be a useful person", are enlightening for deepening the reform of education in China today.
