摘 要:通过对样本教材词汇教学活动的标注和量化统计,本研究发现,语法功能和形式意义两个词汇知识范畴得到了所研究教材过度的关注,语音形式范畴获得了一定的关注,而对其他几个知识范畴,如拼写形式、概念指称、词汇搭配等则鲜有涉及。换言之,中学英语教材未能为教师和学生提供系统全面的词汇知识,这势必对学习者综合外语运用能力的发展造成负面影响。Through coding and statistics of the vocabulary teaching activities in the sample textbooks, this study shows that two aspects of vocabulary knowledge-rammatical functions and form meaning-receive disproportionate attention, the phonetic form receives certain attention, but the remaining six aspects receive very little attention. In other words, the investigated English textbooks fail to provide teachers and students with a well-rounded vocabulary knowledge, which might have a negative impact on the development of students' foreign language proficiency. Some suggestions for both textbook compilers and classroom teaching of vocabulary have been proposed based on the study.
