摘　　要：普通生物学为生物工程专业开设的专业基础课,其教学目标是夯实生物学基础。该门课程使用双语教学授课方式,可以使学生在专业英语词汇积累、英文文献阅读、英语听说能力上均有不同程度的提高;还有利于学生在研究实践中应用英语积极主动地获取专业新信息、新知识,了解快速发展的生物学理论及技术,为今后适应社会的发展、提高国际竞争力打下了基础。＂ General Biology＂ is a specialized basic course of biological engineering major. The teaching aim is to lay a solid foundation in biology. The way of bilingual teaching in the course is good for students＇ improvement in the professional English vocabulary accumulation,English literature reading,English listening and speaking abiliW. It also helps students to use English in their research practice,to actively acquire new information,new knowledge,and understanding of the rapid development of the theory of biology and technology,It lays foundation for better adapt to the future development ofsociew, and improve the international competitiveness.
