摘　　要：瓦波利切拉是意大利最大的葡萄酒原产地命名保护区（DOC）之一，仅出产红葡萄酒的有：瓦波利切拉、里帕索、阿玛罗尼和来乔多。葡萄酒爱好者大多熟悉阿玛罗尼和里帕索，很多人认为基本款的瓦波利切拉是酒体单薄、Valpolicella is one of the largest DOC zones of Italy producing only red wine: Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto. While most wine lovers are familiar with Amarone and Ripasso, most regard the basic Valpolicella as thin and sour wine not wor th mentioning. This might be true ten years ago because of over-production but not anymore. My four-day trip to Valpolicella visiting 16 wineries confirmed that this everyday wine is at least as exciting as Amarone.
