摘　　要：借助微课程所搭建的知识挖掘平台运用ARCS模型所提出的动机激发与维持机制,融合多模态话语理论为微课教学设计教学目标、教学活动等多种可调用的模态资源,生成医学学术英语多模态教学设计思路。实践表明基于ARCS模型构建医学学术英语微课程多模态教学设计有利于学习者持续有效、可迁移地进行主动学习,为微课程在教育教学中的研究与应用提供有益启示。The present paper investigates the teaching design of English for Medical Academic Purposes （EMAP） from the perspec-tive of ARCS motivation model, as well as Multimodal Discourse, which aims to offer more accessible teaching resources such asteaching objectives and activities. It is expected that such teaching design promotes the active construction of knowledge fueled byautonomous learning and constant motivation of learners. The application of the above-mentioned teaching design in EMAP micro-lectures is favorable for teaching effectiveness, thus providing a new dimension and perspective for the research and application ofmicro-lectures.
