摘　　要：目前的科技英语翻译教学主要集中于翻译理论和技巧的讲解,语境在科技英语翻译中的作用未得到足够的重视。准确地理解并表达科技文献原文信息离不开语境分析。在教学过程中,应重视语境对科技英语翻译的影响,改进学生翻译质量。Scientific English translation teaching mainly focuses on translation theory and skills explanation, while the role of language context is neglected. Accurate comprehension and expression of the original science materials can＇t be achieved without context analysis. The impact of language context on scientific English translation should be stressed so as to improve quality of students＇ translation.
