摘  要:该文从翻译理论中的目的论视角出发,重点研究汉语中随社会发展大量涌现的新词及流行语的翻译策略。由于中日间存在较大的文化差异,新涌现的新词及流行语又未及时收录到现有的词汇体系中,这对中日间的文化交流无疑形成了隔阂及障碍。笔者将功能翻译理论中最重要的翻译目的论引入新词及流行语的中日翻译中,并比较对照2008年至2015年这几年间中国教育部及国家语言委员会发布的新词及流行语的翻译方法,参照北京出版的唯一一个日文原版综合月刊——《人民中国》中的"新词网络语"栏目中的权威介绍,探寻翻译过程中译者的目的对翻译策略的选择所产生的影响及作用,从而考察研究新词及流行语的翻译对策。Starting from skopos theory, this paper focuses on the Chinese-Japanese translation strategies of new words and buzzwords springing up with social development. Due to a relatively large gap between Chinese and Japanese cultures, new words and buzzwords are not timely included in the existing vocabulary system, undoubtedly causing an obstacle in Chinese and Japanese cultural exchanges. The writer introduces skopos theory, the most important part in functional translation theory, into the Chi- nese-Japanese translation of new words and buzzwords. Referring to the translation methods of new words and buzzwords issued by Ministry of Education and the State Language Commission of China from 2008 to 2015, as well as the authorized introductions in the column "new words and cyber language" in "People China", the only monthly in full Japanese published in Beijing, this paper explores the influence and role of the translator's purpose in the selection of translation strategies, thus investigating the translation strategies of new words and buzzwords.
