摘　　要：本文记录了对澳大利亚著名汉学家、翻译家杜博妮教授(Bonnie S.Mc Dougall)的专访。在访谈中,杜博妮教授结合自己从事汉英文学翻译工作51年的经历,分享了她对自身翻译实践的看法,以及对汉英文学翻译理论的思考,包括对译者主体性的看法、译者要"信任读者"的观点,以及不同文学体裁的翻译要点,并且强调了中国翻译活动的特殊性。最后,杜博妮教授对中国现当代文学海外传播的问题,提出了中肯的建议。This paper reports an interview with the famous Australian sinologist and translator Bonnie S. McDougall. Based on her fifty-one-years＇ experience of literary translation from Chinese into English, professor McDougall shares her opinions and thoughts on both translation practice and translation theory, such as the translator ＇ s subjectivity, the viewpoint of ＂trusting the readers＂, the particularity of Chinese translation activities, and different translation approaches required by works of different literary genres. Professor McDougall also offers pertinent suggestions for boosting modern and contemporary Chinese literature＇ s accessibility internationally.
