摘　　要：CBI(Content-Based Instruction)是一种通过学科内容教学,促进英语语言习得的教学理念,强调学生在学习学科的具体内容的过程中来掌握语言,摒弃传统的重视语言形式的教学模式。根据这一理论,理工院校研究生英语教学要以学科内容为基础,使学生在完成理工专业学习的同时提高自我的英语应用能力。CBI （Content-based Instruction）, a theory to stimulate English acquisition via the teaching of certain disciplines, prefers to rather than follow traditional theory, English teaching for help students acquire a foreign language through learning a specific subject language teac postgraduates hing methods focusing on linguistic forms. In the light of the from universities of technology should be based on specific disciplines to improve their English in the studies of technological courses.
