摘 要:郭嵩焘自觉继承中国哲学的原道精神,其道论将道视作宇宙的终极存在、天地自然秩序的总规律、人文理想的体现,具有全体大用、即体即用的根本特征。具体而言,天道论阐述了天道有常而必变,道非诚不立、非幾不行的实践哲学观点,高扬人在天人关系中的主体地位和价值;人道论分析身心、性情关系,探讨理想人格和修养方法,提出重建王道政治秩序的社会理想及其制度设计。郭嵩焘的道论充分体现了儒家哲学精神,即务实精神、通变精神、制度精神、开放精神。Kwo Songtao consciously inherited the original spirit of Chinese philosophy on Dao. His theory takes Dao as a cosmic ultimate existence, as the general laws" of human and nature, as the embodiment of humanistic ideal, which has a fundamental characteristic of including all entities and big use. Specifically, His theory of heaven nature explains that nature has a general rule and will often change, and explains Dao would not be established if there is no truth and Dao will not be implemented if there is no initial movement, in order to uplift the human value and position on the relation of human and nature. His theory of human nature analyzes the relationship between body and mind, human nature and emotion, etc. It explores the ideal personality and cultivation methods, puts forward the social ideal and system design of Wangdao reconstruction political order. Kwo Songtao's theory of Dao fully embodies the spirit of Confucian philosophy, namely practical spirit, flexible spirit, institutional spirit and openness spirit.
