英汉方位词“上下”空间隐喻的对比研究

摘　　要：空间隐喻就是由某个概念域向另外一个概念域的映射。人类活动本质上是在时空中的活动,多维空间中的人类身体体验可以说是最为直接、最易于理解、最易于体会的,而以英汉方位词"上下"空间隐喻的对比意义作为始发域,映射其他的认知域,并获取抽象意义的独特认知方式,是最有力、最直接的认知方式,其能够深刻揭示出语言表达与认知思维之间的紧密关系。基于此,本文拟从空间隐喻的基本概念出发,分析英汉空间隐喻之间的关系,探讨英汉方位词"上下"空间隐喻的对比内容。Spatial metaphor is a mapping from one conceptual domain to another. Human activity is in the space essentially. Human body experience in the multi - dimensional space can be said to be the most directly one, the easiest to understand. The comparison of meaning between Chinese and English words ＂ space metaphor＂ as the source domain, other cognitive domain mapping obtain the unique cognitive style of abstract meaning, cognitive style is the most powerful and most directly, it can reveal the profound expression between language and cognitive thinking close relationship. Based on this, this paper intends to analyze the relationship between English and Chinese spatial metaphors from the basic concepts of spatial metaphor to explore the contrastive study of spatial metaphor in Chinese and English.
