摘  要:"思想掌握群众"这一思想政治教育本质判定,不仅加剧了思想政治教育工具化,而且这种非历史的、形而上学的观点势必造成党的思想政治教育和思想自由的尖锐对立,以及对人民群众作为历史创造者地位的遮蔽。对"思想掌握群众"观点的批判,需要有历史唯物主义方法论上的自觉,以超越"思想掌握群众"无批判的实证主义,从而考察思想政治教育作为一项社会实践活动的社会历史条件,以明确"群众掌握思想"的何以可能;进而分析"思想掌握群众"的和"群众掌握思想"的两大思想主体互动何以必要及其可能,阐述了思想政治教育所赖以实践的公共空间及其公共性的本质规定性。As the essence of Ideological and political education, the idea that "thought masters the masses" not only leads to the ideological and political education as a tool, but also certainly causes sharp cotfflict between ideological and political education and freethinking, which is essentially metaphysical and anti-historical. This idea obscures the view of the masses as the creator of history. We need to criticize the idea with historical materialism in order to conquer the idea which is inherently non critical positivism. And then, we should observe and explore social and historical condition for i- deological and political education. The study will make clear why the view that the masses master the thought is possible. In order to explain the public and open space as the essence of the ideological and political education, we need to make clear the way the two ideas,i, e. , "thought masters the masses" and "the masses master the thought", interact.
