摘　　要：美国作为世界上最早开展成人高等教育的国家,在漫长的发展过程中出现过多种成人教育办学形式。在政策、法案、市场等因素影响下,美国已形成三类较为稳定的成人高等办学机构类型。多年的发展形成了美国成人高等教育办学立法调控、联邦总揽、各州负责的管理模式,具有办学形式灵活、课程实用性强等特点,呈现高等教育终身化、教学手段现代化、办学体制多样化以及校企联合办学等趋势。探索其特点与趋势等问题,对我国成人高等院校的办学也具有一定的借鉴意义。As pioneers in setting up the adult higher education in the world, the United States has appeared a variety of adult ed- ucational organizations. Due to the policy, bill, market and other factors, the United States has formed three relatively stable types of adult education institutions of higher learning. After years of development, higher educational organizations of the United States have developed a management model which regulated by legislation, over-viewed by federal, and states responsible for. It has flexible forms of running, practical feature courses and so on. It presents some trends such as lifelong high education, modern teaching methods, run- ning forms diversity, school enterprise cooperation and so on. To explore the characteristics and trends of Chinese adult higher learning institutions also has a certain referenced value.
