摘　　要：美育是蔡元培先生20世纪作为教育部长的时候提出来的开启民智、推动社会进步的一个重要教育理念。将近一个世纪后的今天,文化自觉、文化自信命题使美育再度成为热点话题。但是,最贴身的美育却被忽略了,"校服"的粗鄙甚至丑陋成为人们习焉不察的普遍现象。其实,国民的美感教育,应该从校园服装启蒙。检视中国校服的前世今生,让我们迫切意识到校服改革应该成为民族文化自觉、国家美育工程的重要组成部分。The education of aesthetics was proposed first in China by Cai Yuan - pei, the then minister of education in 19lOs, as an important concept for putting forward social progress and enlightening the people. Today along with the discussion of cuhural consciousness and cultural self- confidence, it is catching people＇s attention again. But campus uniform, the aesthetics education which is most close to our body, has so far been neglected in China, and so come the vulgar and ugly campus uniforms everywhere in China. Actually the education in aesthetics for the public should start from the campus uniform. Investigating the past and the present of campus uniform in Chinese society, it is urgent that the reform of campus uniform should be included as an essential component of the cultural consciousness and aesthetic education project of the country.
