摘 要:许多学者认为,相对于孟子主仁义内在的理论而言,荀子隆礼义、一制度的主张明显地表现出将儒家的仁义理想给予客观化之努力的倾向,代表着一种客观精神之寻求。不过,劳思光持论不同,认为此一看法在严格意义上并不成立。通过对劳思光先生相关观念的梳理,可以进一步检讨荀子的礼论与客观化的关系问题。理论上,毕竟如何了解荀子之礼论与客观化之间的关系,至少尚存进一步讨论的空间。若就着现代意义的"政道"而言客观化,则荀子之措思用力多在"治道"一边;若就着一理想之观念求其客观之落实,并进而化之于社会的现实组织、政治制度之中而言,荀子之礼论确具有自觉寻求客观化的努力。Many scholars believe, compared with Mencius' theory insisting that Benevolence(Ren) is internal, Xunzi' s standpoint advocating Ritual (Li) obviously shows a tendency to objectify the Confucian idea of benevolence. However, Prof. Lao Siguang has a different opinion. He thinks that the idea above is implausible in the stringent meaning. This essay attempts to inquire as to the question of the relation between Xunzi' s theory of Ritual(Li) and its objectification, through making clear Lao Siguang' s related ideas. Theoreticaly, after all, there is still room for further discussion over how to understand the relationship between Xunzi' s theory of Ritual and its objectification. If we talk about the objectification from the "political way" in its modern meaning, Xunzi' s stress maybe mostly lies on the side of a "governed way". If we consider from the ideal concept must real- ize itself in social organizations and politic systems, Xunzi' s theory of Ritual obviously assumes the endeavor of consciously seeking for objectification.
