摘　　要：通顺流畅、韵味十足的上乘译作必定是单词的词典意义与具体语境结合的产物。离开语境谈词义,译者得到的必然是事倍功半的效果。在翻译中,语境对于词义的理解所起的作用是词典所无法替代的。Equivalent translation must be the result of considering both lexical definition and its context. Pursuing lexical definition without referring to its context, translators are bound to be confused and less efficient. In translation, context plays the role that cannot be replaced by dictionaries.
