摘　　要：现如今,我国高职院校发展迅速,高职学校在高等教育中所占比例越来越高,随着时代的变迁和国家政策的不断更新,英语教学随之也要进行改革,因此教师应该根据学生的实际情况和需要,因材施教,运用一些新的教学模式来提升其自主学习能力。本文从秦皇岛职业技术学院公共英语教学现状出发,针对性地提出了提高学生自主学习能力的策略和实际教学模式。有意于激发学生的英语学习兴趣,提升其自主学习能力,为今后适应社会的发展和终身学习打下良好基础。Nowadays,the development of China＇s Higher Vocational Colleges rapidly,higher vocational schools in higher education increasingly high proportion,with the changes of national policy and the era of constantly updated,but also to the reform of English teaching,so teachers should according to the actual situation of students and the needs of students,the use of some new teaching models to improve their ability of autonomous learning. According to the current situation of Public English Teaching of Qinhuangdao Institute of Technology,put forward to improve the students＇ ability of autonomous learning strategies and practical teaching mode. To stimulate students＇ interest in learning English, improve their autonomous learning ability,to adapt to social development in the future Lay a good foundation for development and lifelong learning.
