摘　　要：继续了在《活着》中展现得非常充分的才华,余华《第七天》成功的地方在于,尝试着以新的方式处理新的现实,并再次率先表现了对小说和现实之间关系的特殊敏感;失败的地方在于,余华还没真正找到支配社会新闻这种新材料的恰切技艺。在虚构和非虚构之间,余华尝试着跨界写作以追求现实与艺术之真,但最后还是不幸滑落到了虚构一边。如何艺术地把捉两者之间的关系,依然是余华以及所有当代中国小说家面临的难题。After Yu Hua fully displayed his talent in To Live, he continues his success in The Seventh Day that attempts to dispose the new reality with new methods and pioneers to manifest the special sensitivity between novel and reality. Except these merits, Yu Hua fails to find the appropriate skills to administrate the material like social news. Although Yu Hua tries the transboundary writing between fiction and nonfiction for the realistic and artistic truthfulness, it is unfortunate for him to slide into the fiction. Therefore, how to artisti- cally balance the relation remains a difficult question for Yu Hua and all the contemporary novelists in China.
