认知突显原则与字幕翻译中的文化缺省——以美版《甄嬛传》为例

摘　　要：翻译的本质特性,决定了文化缺省现象的不可避免。突显原则从认知层面为翻译中文化缺省的处理提供了一定的理论依据,指导译者用恰当的方式成就精简、达意也无损文化互通和交际效果的译文。美版《甄嬛传》中的宫廷称谓语和套语饱含中国古代文化,识别并传达出各自主要的认知焦点,可有效地处理文化信息,使得外国观众能完整无误地理解剧情。The intrinsic properties of translation justify the inevitability of cultural default phenomenon.Cognitive salience serves as the theoretical support for cultural default in translation and makes for concise and precise translation to achieve cultural interaction and effective communication. Because appellations and formulas used in Empresses in the Palace are rich in cultural knowledge,correct and complete understanding can be realized by target audiences if cultural information is well transmitted through recognizing and conveying the cognitive foci in them.
