摘　　要：不同于其他文体,新闻讲究时效性,因而从事新闻翻译者更应注重的是如何快而有效地将新闻传递给受众。纵观英汉两种语言里的新闻,不论是以纸质传媒形式出现还是以电子传媒形式出现,均存在较大差异,在句法上尤其如此。试以各大传媒新闻文本为材料,从语法范畴与句子结构两个层次探讨汉语新闻英译策略。News, unlike other styles such as novels or prose, emphasizes timeliness, to which news translators are supposed to pay more attention in translating Chinese news. Be it in the form of newspaper or in digital forms, news in the Chinese and English languages differs themselves greatly in every respect, syntactically in particular. With news as materials from major media at home and abroad, the paper, starting with grammatical categories and sentence structure, attempts to analyze the ways of translating the Chinese news into English.
