摘　　要：外宣材料中有较多的形象性语言,构成了外宣翻译中的一个难点,也会导致"翻译欠缺"现象的发生,论文探讨这一现象并提出通过"补偿"等手段对译文进行修正和完善。There exist many vivid and colloquial words and expressions in translating materials of China＇s Global Communication,constituting a difficulty in the translation and meanwhile resulting in the socalled＂under-translation＂.The paper discusses such a phenomenon and provides methods（like compensation）of amendments and improvement.
