翻译美学视阈下的文化传译——以葛浩文英译《丰乳肥臀》为例

摘　　要：文学作品是民族文化的重要载体和集中反映,文学作品的译介是文化传播的有效途径,是提高中国文化软实力的关键一环。美学理论观照下的小说翻译彰显了作品的审美特性,关涉到文本中的语言、结构、文化等多层次的审美体验。葛浩文英译《丰乳肥臀》在这些方面都取得了丰硕的成果,其译本语言严谨简约,结构清晰通达,文化展现精准。既有助于英文读者在舒适的审美体验中了解到异域的文化习俗、风土人情,更有助于中国文学和文化在全世界的传播。Literature is an important carrier and concentrated reflection of national culture, and its successful translation plays a key part. Under the guidance of Aesthetic Theory, novel trans- lation presents multi-level aesthetic characteristics in the aspect of language, structure and culture. Howard Goldblatt, as a first-class translator of Chinese novels, has made great achieve- ments and his translation of Big Breasts and Wide Hips presents good diction, well-organized structure and exotic custom and culture, which not only enables English readers to experience the beauty of Chinese literature and culture in a leisurely and comfortable way, but also contributes to its spreading all over the world.
