摘 要:当前,随着改革开放的进一步深入,社会对学校人才培养提出了更高的要求,特别是单一的英语教学模式已不能满足当前对人才培养的专门用途英语的需求,大学英语的教学模式由EGP教学模式向ESP教学模式转型成为一种必然趋势,ESP教学的目的正是为了满足高职学生学习专门用途英语的需要,而当前我国高职学生英语程度参差不齐,学生英语基础普遍薄弱,在ESP教学模式转型下,从事ESP教学的英语教师不仅要提高自己的专业知识,而且还要解决教学中存在的问题,本文通过对高职院校学生ESP学习需求的调查问卷进行分析研究,探讨如何改进英语教师的ESP教学,满足学生ESP学习的需求。Currently, with the further deepening of reform and opening, society calls for higher standard for university' s talent cultivation, especially the monotonous teaching mode could not meet the demand of special English on talents cultivation, so the teaching mode of college English transfer from EGP mode to ESP mode has become a necessary tendency. The purpose of ESP is de- signed to satisfy the request of vocational students to learn English on special intention. The English level among the current vocational college students remains jagged and generally unsubstantial. Under the teaching mode of ESP, requires English teacher not only improve their acquisition but also demand them to solve the existing problems. With the analysis and exploration on the questionnaire for vocational students' ESP learning demand, the essay explored how to improve teachers' ESP teaching and meet students' ESP learning request.
