摘  要:《道德经》首章首句"道可道,非常道"六字对于理解老子之道极为紧要。千百年来,人们对此句的解释存在严重的分歧甚至根本对立。依次辨析几种最具代表性和影响性的解释,诸如"道不可言说,可言说之道非恒常之道""道可言说,但非恒常不变"等,从而可以知道,这些解释均是未得老子本意的歧解。"道可道,非常道"的意思仅仅是说:世人通常认为的一切可道之道(即可行之道),均属人为之道,虽其或可得一时之益,或可解一时之难,然必因人因时而兴废,皆非恒常之道。The first sentence of the first chapter of Dao De Jing(Tao Te Ching)"The Tao that is Operable,is not the Eternal Tao" is crucial to understanding Lao Zi's "Tao".There were sharp disagreements,even fundamental oppositions over the interpretation of this sentence throughout the ages.This article analyzed the most iconic and influential interpretations in turn,such as:"The Tao is unutterable,and the utterable Tao is not the eternal Tao" and "The Tao is utterable,but is not constant and unchanged".The analysis showed that these misinterpretations have failed to understand the true meaning behind Lao Zi's texts."The Tao that is operable,is not the eternal Tao" simply means:people usually believe that all the Tao can be put into practice(i.e.The Tao that is Operable),however,this kind of Tao is the anthropogenic Tao;Although it can be beneficial or it is able to solve one's problems at a certain time,it prospers and declines with people and time,so it is not the eternal Tao.
