The Effect of Selective Attention on Intellectually Disabled Children's Traffic Safety Cognition: The Roles of Short-Term Memory and Cognitive Flexibility

摘  要:通过对90名智力障碍儿童的选择性注意、短时记忆、认知灵活性和交通安全认知及其关系进行研究,结果发现:(1)智力障碍儿童在选择性注意、短时记忆、认知灵活性和交通安全认知上的得分均随着年龄的增长而提高,不同年龄组之间存在显著差异。(2)智力障碍儿童选择性注意、短时记忆、认知灵活性、交通安全认知及其各自分类型得分之间均达到显著正相关。(3)短时记忆与认知灵活性在选择性注意和交通安全认知之间起中介作用。The present study, by testing 90 intellectually disabled children, aims to probe into the relationship between such children's selective attention, short-term memory, cognitive flexibility, and traffic safety cognition. The results show the following: (1) The intellectually disabled children scored higher with the increased of age in selective attention, short-term memory, cognitive flexibility and traffic safety cognition, with those in different age groups scoring significantly differently; (2) there were significantly positive correlations between their selective attention, short-term memory, cognitive flexibility and traffic safety cognition; and (3) their short-term memory and cognitive flexibility mediated between their selective attention and traffic safety cognition.
