摘 要:刘古愚作为儒家知识分子与教育者,以高度的责任感支撑起了其坚定的教育信念。他以自身的社会责任感、深厚学养、仁厚之心影响学生的志向、指引为学之道,以丰富的社会实践提升学生能力,实现了知识分子的生命价值,完成了为人师者的使命。刘古愚提出的"十二字学规",启示今日之学者应观时厉耻、求实习勤、广识乐群,进一步提升自身价值。As a Confucian intellectual and educator, Liu Guyu' s education faith was underpinned with a lofty sense of social responsibility. He achieved his life value as an intellectual and accomplished his mission as a teacher by devoting his life to affect students' aspirations, guide the academic direction to them, stimulate their academic interest, and improve students' ability through social practices with his own sense of social responsibility, erudite knowledge and kind-heartedness. Recognizing Liu Guyu' s spirit and faith on education can add spiritual strength to contemporary intellectuals. Liu Guyu' s "twelve-character learning code" can give enlightenment to today' s scholars and help them to further promote the value of their own life.
