摘  要:口译是一种即时性很强的交际活动,它的即时性对译员的各项能力特别是短期记忆能力提出了特别的要求。译员超强大的短期记忆能力不是天生的,而是可以后天习得的。本文将从短期记忆的各种相关概念和特点入手,对培养学生短期记忆的具体方法加以了比较详细的探讨,以便提高口译教学的质量和效果,也为学生今后的口译实践打下良好基础。Interpreting is a timely communicative activity,and its timeliness sets a high demand on the interpreter's abilities,and even a higher demand on his short-term memory. The interpreter was not born with an excellent short-term memory,which,actually,can be acquired through scientific training and exercise. This article,which starts with relevant terms and characteristics of short-term memory,presents a relatively detailed list of how to train students' short-term memory in class,with the aim of improving the quality and effectiveness of interpreting teaching and laying a good foundation for students' would-be interpreting practice.
