摘　　要：太极拳作为一项刚柔兼并的运动,在中华文化的发展上有着源远流长的历史。太极拳以其具有的医学特点、思维方式、运动特征和养生功效受到了广东医科大学的广泛关注,并使得太极拳教学成为学校的专业核心课程,力求推广全民运动,用正确的方式保护和传播中华传统文化。As a sport with both fierce as well as mild features,Taijiquan has a long history in Chinese culture development. Taijiquan has been widely concerned by Guangdong Medical College with its medical characteristics,its way of thinking,its sports characteristics and health effects. Thus,it is act as the core professional curriculum in college. The final aim is to promote the national fitness,and to protect and spread Chinese traditional culture in the right way.
