摘 要:在中国古代艺术理论中,"文"与"质"是一对重要的理论范畴,"文"重在对艺术的修饰,"质"重在艺术的自然真情。中国传统艺术讲究"文质彬彬"相得益彰,若"质"而为"野",则需要"文"来调整;而"文"而近靡,必须以"质"祛弊。尤其民歌与戏曲等艺术,尤为强调"其词直质",妇孺亦能解的质朴之美;而画论中,亦主张"文采"与"内质"相谐和的大雅之道。华朴相济,文质兼备,是中国传统艺术所追求的境界。In Chinese ancient art theories,"wen"and "zhi" are a pair of important theoretical categories. "Wen"gives emphasis on the decoration of the art,while "zhi" attaches importance to the natural truth of art. Chinese Traditional art pays attention to the integration of "literacy and quality". If only following the standard of "zhi",the context will be too wild,which requires "wen"to adjust. However,only "wen"will lead to the fancy appearance,which needs "zhi"to overcome this shortcoming. Especially in the folk song and the opera art,it emphasizes "its simplicity"that women and children can also be able to understand its rustic beauty. Besides,in terms of the painting theory,it also advocatesthe harmonious relation between "literary grace"and "the inner quality". The Chinese traditional art pursues the realm of integration of the quality and the literacy.
