保罗·怀特《菜根谭》英译本语篇重构中的文化意识

摘　　要：在新时代跨文化交流中,汉语典籍的英译者应以传播汉语文化为使命,采纳韦努蒂的"抵抗式"翻译策略,充分加强汉语典籍中文化元素的识别以及再现其文化元素的能力,尤其是如何再现语篇层次上的文化元素。保罗·怀特在《菜根谭》英译本中体现出对源语语篇文化意识的不充分认识,因此其再现汉语语言文化手段仍可加以补充和改进。In the intercultural communication of the new era, the English translators of Chinese classics should take the mission of spreading Chinese culture, adopting Venuti's "Resistance" translation strategy, fully strengthening the recognition of cultural elements in Chinese classics and the ability to reproduce the cultural elements, especially how to reproduce the cultural elements at the textual level.Paul Whit's English version of "Cai Gen-tan" reflects his incomplete understanding on the culture consciousness of the source text. Therefore, its reappearance of Chinese language and culture can still be supplemented and improved.
